The Local’s executive board is sharing with members the action taken by the membership at the November 17, 2023 membership meeting.
A resolution tabled from the October 27, 2023 membership meeting was picked up off the table, and through a friendly amendment the resolution was changed to the text of the resolution available here with the action to be taken by the Local to join other labor unions as endorsing the linked petition. After extensive and passionate debate at the November 17, 2023, membership meeting, this motion passed.
The Local has submitted its endorsement of the petition, as approved by the membership.
