What: CPL Budget Hearing
When & Where: City Council Chambers at City Hall, on the 2nd Floor AND online
On Thursday, October 19, the Chicago Public Library will have its annual Budget Hearing with the City’s Committee on Budget and Government Operations. The hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, on the 2nd Floor, and can also be watched live online via the City Clerk’s website. Public comments are allowed immediately prior to the hearings, at 10:00 AM (you can find guidelines for comment here).
The agenda for the Oct. 19 budget hearings includes multiple City departments (the City Clerk, Chicago Department of Public Health, Chicago Public Library, and the Department of Family and Support Services)–so CPL’s portion of the hearing will begin at an unspecified point after the 10:00 AM start time.
